Today, 2 February 2024, is the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. On this day two novices from the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy will be taking their first profession of vows. This special day also marks the Day for Consecrated Life.
St. Faustina wrote in her Diary: “Whenever the thought comes to me that God is uniting with me through my vows, or rather that I am uniting with Him – nobody can comprehend what my heart experiences at such Times.” (Diary 231).
On this day, let us entrust all consecrated persons to Mary so that they may faithfully follow in the footsteps of Merciful Jesus. Let us also ask for the grace of beautiful love, zeal and fidelity for them on this path of life.
