On Good Friday, we begin a novena before the Feast of Divine Mercy. The Lord Jesus said Saint Faustina, that this novena would prepare her for a feast in which we worship God in the mystery of his unfathomable mercy. By this novena, I will grant every possible grace to souls (796) – he promised in “Diary”.
The novena consists of praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for 9 days. We can deepen our prayer by considering the words that Jesus dictated to Saint Faustina for these days (Diary 1209-1229).
