On earth they were united by a common mission, now they celebrate together…
It is astonishing Divine Providence that on the day of the birth into heaven of Blessed Father Michael Sopocko chose the day on which his penitent and apostle of Divine Mercy, St. Faustina, celebrated her religious name day.
On this special day for us, let us invoke their intercession so that each of us may respond with ever greater confidence to God’s call and, experiencing God’s mercy, bear witness to it by proclaiming to the world the mystery of His merciful love. Jesus, I trust in You!
“This morning Father Sopoćko left.
When I immersed myself in a prayer of thanksgiving for the great grace of God
to have been able to see Father, I was suddenly united with the Lord in a special way, Who said,
“He is a priest after My Heart, I am pleased with all his efforts.
You see, O daughter of Mine, My will must be done, and I shall keep all that
I have promised you. Through him I am sending down consolation on souls
that are suffering and in tribulation; it has pleased Me through him to spread
the praise of My mercy, and more souls will come to Me thanks to this work of mercy
than if he were to spend day and night to the end of his life granting absolution,
which would keep him busy to the end of his life, but through this work of mercy,
he will be working until the end of the world.”
